Tivoli and Villa D Este

A great day to head out of Rome; students in a few of the Art History Classes needed to take a trip out to Hadrians Villa and Villa D Este (sorry - I am working from a commerical internet point - still no internet at home). It was sunny and hot and although I was there with Kate and Kyle a few years ago - it was great to hear a different take on the history - quite fascinating. Prepping for Amys visit Monday and (of course) there is a transit strike scheduled for then too! Will make it work - also got some good ideas for travels with Angel and Erik who visit on the 16th.
